Gloria Partida was first elected to Davis City Council in June 2018. After graduating from UC Davis, she worked for 30 years as a neurobiologist before retiring in 2019. She is active in disability advocacy, has participated in multiple school and community organization boards, and is a co-founder of the Davis Phoenix Coalition, which aims to eliminate community intolerance.
