The Tahoe Chamber develops, promotes, and represents the South Shore business community.
The Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce—more commonly referred to as simply Tahoe Chamber—is a nonprofit based in the state of Nevada and able to also do business in California. In partnership with the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority, Tahoe Chamber serves businesses operating in Lake Tahoe’s South Shore.
As a nonprofit, the Tahoe Chamber is well positioned to be a force for fostering change and prosperity for those who work, play, and live in Lake Tahoe. It is a very proactive Chamber, planning multiple events each year while regularly engaging with its members on a monthly and weekly basis.
Tahoe Chamber is also a key player in the project known as Tahoe 2025: A South Shore Community Vision. In the fall of 2019, Chamber members began working together to provide perspectives and input to improve the economic health of South Shore Lake Tahoe by striving for a safer community while also ensuring economic success for those committed to serving the community professionally.

The Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce (Tahoe Chamber) announces the finalists for the 2025 Blue Ribbon Awards, recognizing outstanding achievements and contributions to the South Shore business community. Winners will be revealed during the celebratory Blue Ribbon Awards ceremony at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the magnificent Edgewood Tahoe Resort.

The Tahoe Chamber and South Tahoe Chamber of Commerce invite the community to an essential Fire Forum on April 17 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the TADA Building at South Tahoe High School.This free community event will feature a panel of Fire Chiefs from the Tahoe Fire and Fuels Team, providing crucial information on wildfire preparedness, evacuation routes and key lessons learned from the Palisades Fire.
The Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce, Tahoe Prosperity Center, and other "outside agencies" in El Dorado County were surprised in February with the board of supervisors' decision to completely cut their transient occupancy tax funding and roll it into the general fundāa decision that may have lasting repercussions on tourism and business in the area.

The Tahoe Chamber announced that vendor applications are now open for the 2025 Go Local Business Expo, scheduled for April 3, 2025, at the Tahoe Blue Event Center. As Lake Tahoe's premier B2B networking event the Expo provides unparalleled marketing and networking opportunities for businesses to engage directly with over 1,000 attendeesāincluding fellow vendors, community members, and industry leaders.
A shocking number of businesses have shut down, but multiple new ventures are coming in behind them.
Tahoe Chamber Board Chair Chris Proctor announced that as of Dec. 12, CEO Mike Glover is no longer with the Tahoe Chamber.
