The El Dorado Hills Area Foundation serves as a support and resource for nonprofit organizations within El Dorado County and its surrounding areas.
El Dorado Hills Area Foundation has a mission statement with three key words:
• Inspiration: The foundation inspires others by making the general public aware of needs throughout the community and motivating them to get involved.
• Integration: The foundation brings nonprofits together to equip, strengthen, and provide help where needed.
• Invigoration: The foundation provides grants and other financial assistance to invigorate nonprofits and fuel efforts to achieve their mission.
The El Dorado Hills Area Foundation is dedicated to lifting up local nonprofits. Its combined giving umbrella supports organizations in El Dorado Hills, Folsom, Granite Bay, Placerville and Latrobe. Funding comes through a variety of events, including an annual golf tournament, private and corporate donations, and the Giving Circle—a network of philanthropic events.
