Michael Martinelli moved to El Dorado Hills in 2014 with his family. He joined the EDHCSD Board of Directors in 2018 because he wanted to give back to the community. Martinelli also is a member of the El Dorado Hills Rotary Club and volunteers for Big Brother Big Sisters as well. 


He graduated from Sacramento State University with bachelor’s degree in business administration. His professional background includes experience in the construction industry, and he now owns the Martinelli Insurance Agency.


Martinelli won a second term on the Board of Directors in the general election on Nov. 8, 2022.
