The El Dorado County Fire District is an all-risk fire department, providing emergency and non-emergency services to approximately 75,000 citizens who reside within the district's 281 square miles. Its 75 firefighters serve local communities, staffing six fire engines and four medic units 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
