Sidney Bazett has lived in Cameron Park since 1997 with wife Donna and their son. Bazett has been actively involved in Rescue School District, Ponderosa High School, local sports, Boy Scouts and a local church. He has long history of volunteering, including service as a Peace Corps Volunteer, on two county commissions, and as chair of the Cameron Park CSD CC&R Committee. He is retired from a career in education in which he has worked as a teacher, counselor, psychologist, and principal. He currently works in real estate. Bazett enjoys spending time at his cabin at Fallen Leaf Lake, sailing Lake Tahoe, gardening, fishing, reading and travel. As a member of the board of directors, Bazett is proud to represent the community and is committed to maintaining the high quality of Cameron Park’s neighborhoods and community. He wants to keep up the level of service provided by the district—its parks, fire department and other amenities—while keeping expenditures within a budget.
