Tim Israel was welcomed to Cameron Park Community Services District Board of Directors after running unopposed in the November 2022 election. Israel told Village Life he thinks public service is very important, explaining his top priorities as a new board member are to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability and to make parks more available.
An engineer, Israel spent his career specializing in solidwaste engineering, sustainability, and alternative fuel development. He spent the last 20 years with Sacramento County Waste Management and now works for a company that focuses on development of sustainable energy solutions. Israel serves on the Cameron Park CSD’s CC&R Committee.
