Mark Lytle passed away in the hospital from complications following a brief respiratory illness. No services are planned. His family and loved ones will be honoring him during a group camp out at some point this summer, spreading his ashes in a beautiful place where the fish run wild.

The newest edition to the Penn Valley Fire Protection District safety vehicle fleet will be on display at the Penn Valley Fire Department Auxiliary Thrift Shop throughout the week. The Auxiliary Thrift Shop is located at 10513 Spenceville Road, behind Station 43 in Penn Valley. The ambulance, purchased by the Auxiliary, will go into service in coming weeks.
