A native of Pacific Grove and a mother of three, Jenny McAdams works full time for Monterey County Supervisor Wendy Root Askew. She won her council seat in 2018, and offers up a long list of achievements on her official biography. To mention a few, she served on the public safety sub-committee, which mounted Pacific Grove’s first public Town Hall, and successfully advocated for an allocation of CARES Act funding to go toward a program offering renter’s assistance and small-business grants. She also strengthened the short-term rental ordinance by prohibiting the advertisement of unlicensed short-term rentals. But McAdams has a lot more she’s like to accomplish. She plans to “balance the needs of people and our natural environment” and “engage my neighbors in open dialogue to achieve our shared goals.”
