The Police Department has 17 sworn officers and three non-sworn personnel. Authorized staffing includes the chief of police, police captain, five sergeants, and 10 police officers. Those sworn positions are supported by the executive assistant to the chief of police/records and property supervisor, a police clerk, a code enforcement officer, and an animal control officer. Department services include police patrols, a vehicle abatement program, live scan fingerprinting, school resource services, and crime prevention through environmental design.
