City Manager Steve Adams has announced his plans to retire at the end of the year, concluding a decade of leadership in King City and 43 years in public service.
King City Police Department is mourning the unexpected passing of Police Sgt. Ryan Kenedy, who died while on duty March 25 at about 12:45 a.m. after experiencing a medical emergency.
King City Council has approved the Riverbed Wildfire Prevention Plan, along with its associated Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program — a significant step toward bolstering wildfire safety in the region.
First Baptist Church Pastor Ken Reese was honored Feb. 25 by King City Council members with a proclamation aimed at commemorating the victims of last year’s tragic mass shooting, recognizing the local church and other faith-based organizations in leading the community’s healing process.
