Councilmember Brian Baker


Brian Baker ran for a Town Council seat in 2014. The self-described small-business owner/community volunteer said in his campaign statement, “I am pursuing a seat on the Loomis Town Council because I love our community. My goal is to enrich our town, build on its successes and address its shortcomings.” Married with two young childr4en, Baker also volunteers for a number of community organizations; as an assistant scout master, he mentors youth within the Boy Scouts of America and serves as president of a church organization for young men. Prior to his run for office, he regularly attend Town Council meetings and was appointed to the Planning Commission. “I am committed to bringing a positive attitude to the Council and ensuring we move Loomis forward in a great direction for residents,” Baker said.
