Value of Placer County Agriculture Hits All-Time High

According to the 2020 Placer County Agricultural Crop Report, the total gross value of agricultural crops and products for 2020 hit $90,710,116. Rice, beef cattle, walnuts and timber yielded the highest values.

Placer County Awards $500K for Broadband Infrastructure

The Placer County Board of Supervisors has awarded Wave Broadband with a $500,000 grant to expand internet services in Auburn and Penryn. The county also will seek to expand rural broadband through participation in the Golden State Connect Authority.
