A San Joaquin County native, Jeffery Woltkamp served as the assistant auditor-controller for more than 15 years before assuming the elected position himself. While serving as acting auditor-controller, Woltkamp ran for auditor-controller and won outright in the June 2022 primary. “As Auditor-Controller, I will continue to safeguard the billions of dollars that flow through our office annually,” Woltkamp posted on Facebook. “I hold this job in high regard and know we have thousands of families that depend on our office.”
