Supervisor Robert Rickman is very familiar with San Joaquin Valley—he is a third-generation resident. Having served as a councilmember and mayor of Tracy, he has deep roots in the community. He is a graduate of Tracy High School, and went on to obtain a law degree. Supervsior Rickman has served as an adjunct professor at ITT Tech, and also on the Criminal Justice Advisory Board at Humphrey University. He maintains partnerships and serves on committees for various groups and organizations focused on education, anti-bullying, and public safety. Besides being a supervisor, he works as a state police officer and sergeant.
