This commission provides feedback to the City Council on the activities of the Open Space, Parks and Golf Division and Recreation Division (both part of the city’s Community Services Department). The commission reviews matters relating to the construction and renovation of capital facilities and state legislative proposals that may affect the operation of the two divisions. The seven members, who serve three-year terms, receive community input on parks, open space and recreation activities.
Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m.
