The Human Resources Department recruits, develops, and retains a diverse, well-qualified workforce that reflects the high standards of the community. It ensures that departments maintain positive employee relations and practice talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement.

The team also provides a wide range of services to city staff in the areas of total compensation; employee and labor relations; organization and employee development; talent management; and risk management, safety and workers compensation.
