The Senior Commission advises both the Los Altos and the Los Altos Hills city councils on senior needs and issues. Commissioners make recommendations about programs and resources, gather information from the senior community, and assist in identifying funding agencies and applying for grants. The commission meets monthly and provides a quarterly written report to each council, and commissioners meet with each council at least once a year.
Meetings are held in the Hillview Community Center at 97 Hillview Avenue on the first Monday of the month at 3:30pm.
