In a area as blessed with natural beauty as Los Altos Hills, there are many resources for Parks and Rec to oversee. In addition to the many facilities managed directly by the department, residents have easy access to acres of parkland administered by the Mid-Peninsula Regional Open Space District. The department works with the citizens who serve on the Parks and Recreation Committee, which advises the council on recreation-related policies.
