Town of Los Altos Hills Pathways Committee

In other towns, traffic is a big topic. But in Los Altos Hills, residents can get around on the Pathway System, designed to provide non-vehicular travel across neighborhoods and into the surrounding open space. And this committee works for the preservation and enhancement of the system.

The committee meets regularly with the City Manager to render advice on pathway activities and maintenance. Members study ordinances and resolutions involving acquisition, construction, maintenance and use of pathways, and they education residents about the system. Those interested in serving on the committee should be familiar with the Pathway System; a background in surveying, construction, or engineering specifications is welcome but not required.
