This seven-member volunteer body is appointed by the City Council and responsible for offering advice and strategy for supporting local art, culture and library services. The commission is a liaison between the city and the Santa Clara County Library, and members consult with private community groups supportive of library and arts programs. The group also arranges city-sponsored artistic and performance showcases, and recommends artworks to be acquired by the city or installed on public property.
Meetings are held at 6 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month in the Morgan Hill City Council Chamber, 17575 Peak Ave.
