The Woodland Parks and Recreation Commission serves as a forum for community discussion of recreation and community services programs for children, teens and adults, as well as parks and recreation facility needs.

Commissioners make recommendations on program direction and financial matters related to parks, recreation and community services. They conduct surveys to assess the needs of the community and advocate for the continued growth, availability and quality of facilities and programs. Meeting agendas and minutes are available online.

The commission reports to the Woodland City Council during April of each year on work accomplished in the past year and outlines work to be done in the coming year.

Meetings are held the fourth Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
