The City Clerk’s Office helps residents interact with local government in a variety of ways.

As the archivist of city records, the city clerk provides public information and responds to requests for public records. The clerk certifies and distributes ordinances and resolutions, posts legal notices, and is responsible for the maintenance and distribution of the Woodland Municipal Code.

As clerk of the council, the city clerk administers municipal elections and serves as the filing officer for mandatory campaign expenditure statements and statements of economic interests filed by public officials and designated employees.

The clerk also maintains the following for the city’s various boards and commissions: agendas, applications, attendance records, minutes, oaths and rosters.
