The task of maintaining and expanding Woodland’s transportation and utilities infrastructure falls to the Public Works Department.

The department has four divisions.

Administration consists of department level management and administrative staff.

Fleet Services provides maintenance, repair, and service calls for more than 700 city vehicles, trailers, and miscellaneous equipment.

The Right-Of-Way Division fields three work groups to handle electrical, signs and markings, and streets.

The Utilities Division provides safe, reliable, and efficient water, sewer and storm service to the community of Woodland.
