The Community Services Department encompasses three divisions. Facilities handles maintenance of city buildings and grounds, including the Placerville Station Park and Ride, parks and recreation infrastructure, and Town Hall. The Parks division operates the Historic Gold Bug Park and Mine, Lions Park Softball Complex, Placerville Aquatic Center, and neighborhood parks. The Recreation division manages youth and adult sports, classes, camps, special events, and facility rentals.
