Steve Ferry and his family have lived in El Dorado Hills for more than 20 years.

A retired real estate broker and mortgage banking professional, Ferry has served as president of the California Association of Residential Lenders and chair of the El Dorado County Association of Realtors. He led the effort to have El Dorado County become a Prop 90 participant county.

He also worked on the Regulatory Reform sub-committee of the Community Economic Development Advisory Committee updating the General Plan. While there, Ferry served twice on the Housing Task Force to obtain California State approval of the Housing Element of the El Dorado County General Plan.
