David Schmalz here, with some notable updates about Sand City, which doesn’t make a lot of news.
The we.Mural Festival in Sand City has been taking place since Sunday, Sept. 29; it will last until Friday, Oct. 4. Just like in 2023, it is curated by the husband and wife muralist duo, Cameron and Crystal Moberg.
More than any other city on the Monterey Peninsula, Sand City feels like a place of possibility, somewhere that new ideas can take root and flourish.
