Mayor Pro Tempore Carla A. Strobridge


Now serving her second term on the City Council after running unopposed in 2020, Carla Strobridge has lived in Soledad since 2004. She has been tapped as mayor pro tem for 2021. An avid animal lover, Strobridge has two rescue dogs and serves as board president for South County Animal Rescue. She's been active in the community, volunteering for the Soledad High School Sober Grad Night Committee, Soledad-Mission Chamber of Commerce, Old Town Soledad Beautification Association, Soledad Christmas Parade, Soledad Fiesta Days, and the Wind & Wine Festival. Her previous work experience includes positions with the Northern California Golf Association and the County of Monterey’s Office of Economic Development.


Though she was elected to serve until 2024, Strobridge stepped down in 2022.
