The city clerk is responsible for managing the legislative history of the city and preserving documents and records in accordance with state law. City Clerk Ann Rathbun has been with the city for 29 years and was appointed city clerk on December 9, 1985. She coordinates the preparation and distribution of the City Council and Redevelopment Agency agendas, attends all meetings and certifies actions taken. The clerk also handles public records requests.
