Bill Halldin and his wife, Susan, moved to Rocklin in 1999 to raise their family and launch Halldin Public Relations. For 20 years Halldin led the business, which was repeatedly listed as one of the region’s top corporate supporters to non-profit organizations. He now serves as a senior leader in media relations for a large financial services company.
In 2022, he was elected to his second term on the Rocklin City Council. Halldin’s service to the community has included leadership in local non-profit organizations. He currently serves on the boards of the Placer Feed My Starving Children MobilePack and Blue Line Arts and previously served as a Sierra College trustee, chairman of the Rocklin Area Chamber of Commerce, and president of the Sierra College Foundation.

The Rocklin City Council approved modifications Jan. 14 to the Business Attraction, Retention and Revitalization Overlay, or "BARRO" zone, to revitalize older city business zones.
After a long discussion, the Rocklin City Council voted 3-2 last month to proceed in donating $2 million toward saving undeveloped Clover Valley.
