Over the past 60 years, the City of Galt has only had four treasurers. This valued job position comes with the great responsibility of safely keeping and maintaining all funds within the city's treasury.

The city treasurer not only maintains the city's main funds, but also serves as treasurer for the city's Redevelopment Agency, Galt Middle School Joint Powers Authority, City of Galt Public Financing Authority, and the City Capital Improvements Authority.
