Part of the Administration Department, the City Manager's Office is headed up by the city manager, who is appointed by the Galt City Council. The city manager appoints and supervises the city’s management team and ensures that all laws and ordinances are enforced. The manager also recommends measures and ordinances to the council that are in the city’s best interest. The office is responsible for preparing the annual budget and capital improvement program.
