Three years after his first term as mayor, Paul Sandhu will one again lead Galt City Council. At its Dec. 5 meeting, Council chose Sandhu and Rich Lozano to serve as mayor and vice mayor in the coming year.

Galt City Manager Lorenzo Hines Jr. has announced his resignation. In a written statement sent to city staff and media, Hines said his final day will be Feb. 2. The statement did not give a reason for his departure.
