The Lathrop City Council consists of four councilmembers and the mayor, all elected at large. Together they create and approve all policies for the city of Lathrop. 

Meetings: Council meetings are open to the public and are customarily held every second Monday of the month at 7 p.m. Meetings may also be viewed remotely through a livestream link on Comcast Channel 97.
