The Performing Arts Committee was established to address issues related to the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts. The five-member committee acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council in matters pertaining to the performing arts, particularly in raising awareness of city-owned venues. Members encourage synergy between artists and the community, and promote programming that reflects a mixture of theatre, music and other performing arts.
Meetings are held in the Atrium Conference Room at 500 Castro St. on the third Wednesday of the month at 6:15 p.m.
