The Recreation & Community Services Department offers events, leisure and recreation activities, and educational and cultural programs that are responsive to the city’s diverse population. Activities are provided for all ages. Among the programs are youth sports, after-school activities for toddlers to teens, programs for seniors, adult fitness classes, citizenship classes in English and Spanish, and food distribution in partnership with the Food Bank of Monterey County.
