On November 4, 2014, the voters of Salinas approved Measure G, an ordinance imposing a one-cent general transactions and use tax. Measure G has a 15-year term and requires the City Council to establish an Oversight Committee, which was created on March 31, 2015.
Meets a minimum of three times per year, as determined by the City Council
