The Truckee Chamber of Commerce, Sierra Business Council, and Lift Workspace announce the launch of the Truckee Tahoe Future Founders (TTFF) Club, a new initiative designed to support and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs in our region. The club is open to aspiring entrepreneurs aged 14-24 and will officially kick off with a community event on Thursday, May 29, at 5:00 p.m. at Lift Workspace in Truckee.

The Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe and Bare Roots Coffee Roasting Co. launched a meaningful new partnership. This collaboration introduces a special coffee medium roast blend, "Root for Tahoe Youth: The Kindness Blend", with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Club. A sudden federal funding freeze has dealt a major blow to Tahoe Food Hub and Sierra Community House, two organizations that provide fresh, locally sourced produce to hundreds of families in the Truckee-Tahoe region.
Thanks to the generosity of Tahoe Fund donors, the nonprofit reached its $200,000 fundraising goal to support the California Tahoe Conservancy's efforts to demolish the former Motel 6 building, restaurant, and parking lot in the Upper Truckee Marsh. This is the next step in removing these developments and restoring the sensitive wetland area.
