The Food Bank of Nevada County distributes food to local people in need.
Distribution service days are as follows:Grass Valley: Second and fourth Thursday (every month), 10 a.m.-noonNorth San Juan: Second Tuesday (every month), 10 a.m.-noonWashington “Little Town”: Third and fifth Wednesday (every month), noonHiggins: Third Thursday (every month), 3:30-5:30 p.m.Truckee: Every Tuesday, 4-5 p.m.
Emergency food pickup at the group’s warehouse is available weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 310 Railroad Ave, Grass Valley. Check the group’s website or its Facebook page.
