The North Tahoe Preservation Alliance works to preserve the beauty of Lake Tahoe and the rural lifestyle of its residents.
The North Tahoe Preservation Alliance is an organization committed to preserving Lake Tahoe. Many of those who live in the region, along with those who frequent it in a respectful, environmentally friendly manner, believe the lake is being asked to give more than it realistically can. In addition to the effects of congestion and pollution from tourism, the Lake Tahoe region is under threat of overdevelopment by property owners and commercial builders.
The North Tahoe Preservation Alliance is committed to exposing the down side of many future plans, including even those that seem to include preservation efforts but not as positive as they seem on the surface. The North Tahoe Preservation Alliance gets to the facts.
Those interested in helping to save Lake Tahoe can sign an online petition located on the organization’s website, and can also make a donation. Those who wish to be more deeply involved can contact North Tahoe Preservation Alliance to assist in saying no to Lake Tahoe urbanization.
