This local chapter of Soroptimist International works to improve the lives of women and girls through social and economic empowerment.
Approximately 80,000 Soroptimists in 120 countries and territories support projects benefiting women and girls.

Soroptimist International announced that applications are now open for two impactful grant and scholarship programs aimed at supporting women in their pursuit of education and training.
Soroptimist International of Truckee Donner honored 14 women and two girls at their Celebrating the Best for Women event on March 21 at the Glenshire Club House.
Soroptimist International of Truckee Donner was able to support both Awaken and Sierra Community House with $2,500 each due to the generous support of the Whittier Trust.
