Animal Spay and Neuter provides low-cost pet spaying and neutering services in an effort to reduce overpopulation and eliminate the killing of animals in shelters.
The clinic has been serving the community since 1993, providing surgeries to the general public, rescue groups, and shelters. It also operates a feral cat program; for information, call (530) 889-8800 for an appointment before beginning to trap. The organization currently has a backlog of requests for surgeries, with a particularly long waiting list for large-breed dogs.
