A Roseville native and a veteran of the United States Navy, Krista Bernasconi owns a public relations firm in Roseville and has spent much of her career creating public affairs plans for clients in the private sector.
In November 2018, she was elected to a four-year term on the Roseville City Council. She served as vice mayor through 2020 and was tapped as mayor from 2020 to 2022. “The next couple years are really gonna be headlined with public safety, remaining fiscally responsible and pursuing economic opportunities that help pay for the quality of life we enjoy here,” the new mayor told Gold Country Media.
Bernasconi’s involvement in the community has been extensive; she was on the Planning Commission for eight years and served eight years as an elected trustee on the Roseville City School District Board of Education. She is a founding board member of IGNITE Young Professionals in Roseville and the Roseville City School District Foundation.
