Planning Commission Chair Kitty Moore threw her hat in the ring for the Cupertino City Council in November 2020 and triumphed in a tight race along with top vote getter Hung Wei. According to her campaign website, Moore sees Cupertino as “an inclusive and balanced community with a transparent government, healthy environment, excellent schools, robust employment, recreation spaces, and high quality of life”—and she wants to keep it that way. In her campaign, Moore enjoyed the support of fellow councilmembers Darcy Paul, Liang Chao and Jon Willey.
