Cupertino’s City Manager Pamela Wu has been placed on administrative leave, the City Council said Friday.“This decision was made to ensure the city can continue to operate smoothly and maintain organizational stability while allowing a fair internal review process to move forward in a constructive and focused manner,” the council said in a press release.The council gave no details on its reasons for removing Wu.Wu has been city manager since August of 2022, according to her LinkedIn profile. Before that she worked for the City of San Bruno from July 2019, rising from Planning and Housing manager to Community and Economic Development director. From 2001 to 2018, she worked in the planning department of Santa Clara County.
