The Youth Commission serves as a forum for encouraging involvement of local young people in the town’s present and future municipal affairs. Commissioners study problems, activities, and concerns of youth, especially as they relate to municipal programs or projects. The commission holds forums itself or in conjunction with other governmental agencies and community organizations, and makes recommendations on municipal matters to the Town Council and the town’s boards, commissions or committees.
