The Library Board advises the Town Council regarding library programs, services, and policies that meet the needs of the community. The board also reflects community concerns about library service and issues to the Los Gatos Public Library and the Town Council. Enabling Resolution The seven-member board consists of six adult members appointed to three-year terms by the Town Council, and one Youth Commissioner appointed by the Youth Commission to a one-year term with no limitations on reappointments.
Meetings are held in the Conference Room at Los Gatos Public Library, 100 Villa Ave., at 3:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of January, March, May, July, September, and November. Meetings are held virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic.
