Appointed by the city manager, Capitola’s city clerk is the liaison between the City Council and the community. All public records pertaining to official actions are available through the City Clerk’s Office. As custodian of official records, the office serves as the de facto historian for the city. The office also handles all Public Records Act requests. A PDF form to request any public document can be downloaded on the department website.
