The City Manager’s Department is responsible for the overall administration of the city. The department works closely with the City Council to provide assistance with policy legislation and direct policy implementation. The city manager directly manages the city clerk and human resources and provides administrative direction and leadership to all city departments. The office is responsible for a variety of activities, including general administration, personnel and labor relations, and the redevelopment program.
