Capitola’s Public Works Department encompasses four divisions. The Streets team maintains and improves the city’s streets and highways, and also provides maintenance of Soquel Creek and Capitola Lagoon. The Parks team is responsible for all city-owned parks, while Facilities maintains and operates all city-owned buildings, including City Hall, Jade Street Community Center, and the Municipal Wharf. And the Fleet division handles upkeep on all mobile equipment for the city.
